Educational presentations
When we are advocating for someone else or ourselves, we are usually asking for something such as a service or support, that rights be respected, a wrong be rectified, or suggesting a new way of doing things. It can feel like a lot of pressure and emotions can run high. We do our homework by gathering information and facts and preparing what questions we need to ask, but when we meet those decision makers face to face and reflect later on the meeting, it can seem that there were invisible dynamics at play that made the difference between whether the encounter moved forward or backward.

I offer presentations, planned in conjunction with you, based on your group’s needs, to examine some of these invisible dynamics such as the dynamics of the emotions that we bring into our advocating endeavors and the personal strengths of both ourselves and those on the other side of the ‘table”.

These presentations can have an interactive component if desired.

Workshops
Planning the workshop content in conjunction with you, based on your group’s needs, these workshops can be presented as a series of sessions convenient to your organization, allowing participants to be truly interactive with the content and if desired, can include an introduction to some of the tools that I use in my one-to-one consulting practice.

Small group programs
These programs are offered to small intimate groups (ideally 4 people), who would like to work together in a supportive environment on similar goals.  In these programs we will use many of the tools that I use in my one to one consulting practice. While we won’t delve as deeply into an individual’s personal concerns as we do in one to one sessions, there are advantages to receiving the support felt in a small group setting.
